Amanda graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master's of Arts in Biblical Counseling.
She is also a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) as an Outdoor Educator and is certified in Leave No Trace.
She has worked in inpatient, residential and outpatient settings with adults and adolescents struggling with eating disorders, mood, substance abuse, trauma and self-harm behaviors.
Amanda is passionate about the outdoors, enjoys hiking, backpacking, rock climbing and traveling. She has led therapeutic hikes and camping trips with clients. Additionally, Amanda enjoys reading, baking, listening to music and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
